In 2013, MCLC began awarding scholarships to neglect and delinquency wards who successfully completed high school and were enrolling in 2 and 4 year college programs or trade schools. These scholarships honor the memory of Daniel J. Wright, a lifelong advocate for children and families, and a friend of the law center. To date 13 scholarships have been given out to deserving youth.
